Ford Kuga vs. Vauxhall Antara-Which is Better

The Ford Kuga is a European built and sold RV style vehicle. It offers a lot of great features including a kinetic design that is different than any other vehicle on the American market. Some of the features that are expected to be offered when it hits the American market is a 2.0-liter, 145 hp, four cylinder engine or a 2.5-liter, 200 hp engine along with standard airbags, stability control as well as trailer stability assist suspension. There is a possibility that they will also offer a large sunroof, heated windshield, luggage rack and a backup camera. The European version has a longer wheelbase which gives the Ford Kuga more legroom on the interior. It gets 37 mpg at the present time with the German made vehicle. It is expected to be manufactured in the US in the near future. There is at present no release date for the Kuga in the US but could be released sometime in 2011.

There are actually three versions of the Vauxhall Antara which includes the Antara S, The Antara E and the Antara SE. All three models include and ESP with traction control, an ABS system, descent control system, twin front airbags, front seat side-impact airbags, front and outer rear full-size curtain airbags, ultrasonic security system, adjustable steering column, self-leveling rear suspension and steering wheel mounted audio controls so you never have to be caught reaching to adjust the stereo. Besides these safety features, each model has its own range of additional features that are over and above the basic features. Each one is available with a choice of transmission types.

In a comparison between the two vehicles you will find many differences. The Ford Kuga is a larger vehicle with fewer amenities than the Vauxhall Antara but is actually a great vehicle for a family. The Antara offers more features and options to the mix making it a more desirable vehicle but is less family friendly in terms of interior space including the cargo space. The Antara also has a higher price tag than the Kuga due partially to the available options.
